About Shamida Ethiopia

Shamida Ethiopia was established to give hope to the lives of vulnerable women and children through care, support and development programs and to give them relevance in life.

Karen Kendall, manages the day to day running of Shamida Ethiopia being based permanently in Ethiopia with her beautiful Ethiopian daughters, Ruby and Daisy.

In Ethiopia social problems have been increasing at an alarming rate due to poverty, HIV/AIDS, various diseases, drought and conflict. Among other social problems the number of orphans and vulnerable children is increasing rapidly. Shamida Ethiopia is a non-profit Ethiopian NGO that is working hand in hand with other NGOs in Ethiopia to complement their efforts and advance our projects.
